Anchored workflow

One selection. One complete profile.

Place the first anchor at Range Start and the second at the end of the area you want to study. The tool reads every bar in between and builds a single profile, without splitting it at daily, weekly, or monthly boundaries.

Time becomes lettersEach bracket receives a letter: A, B, C, and onward from Range Start.
Price becomes rowsEvery bracket is recorded at all price levels visited between its High and Low.
Shape reveals acceptanceWide areas show more time at price; narrow areas reveal faster movement.

Profile structure

The levels that matter

The calculations are based on TPO occurrence counts, not volume. Together they describe the main center of acceptance, the accepted range around it, and the areas where the market moved quickly.

POC

Point of Control

The price row with the largest TPO count—the level where the market spent the most time during the selected range.

VA

Value Area

Begins at POC and expands toward the stronger adjacent row until it contains the configured 50–90% of all TPO activity. Default: 70%.

S/P

Single Prints

Internal rows visited during only one TPO bracket. The absolute profile High and Low are excluded from this classification.

IB

Initial Balance

High, Low, midpoint, fill, spine, and optional label calculated from Range Start over a configurable 5–180 minute window.

H/L

Range High & Low

Optional horizontal boundaries showing the maximum and minimum price reached inside the complete anchored selection.

RS

Range Start

The Open of the first chart bar in the selection. It equals the session Open only when the first anchor is placed at session start.

Visual engine

18 display modes

The data and calculations stay identical while the presentation changes. Choose classic letters, compact geometry, density-focused heat maps, or stylized cells to match the chart and the task.

Letters

Classic Market Profile letters for every TPO time bracket.

TPOCandles

Vertical bar-style cells with letters and a configurable candle width.

HeatMap

Cell intensity follows row density relative to the most populated level.

Blocks

Filled blocks with borders and automatically contrasting letters.

Outlined

Lightly filled cells with pronounced outlines and no letters.

Bricks

Compact beveled brick-style cells without letters.

BricksLetters

Beveled bricks with a TPO letter inside every cell.

BricksNeon

Dark interiors, bright borders, and a secondary glow outline.

BricksEmber

Layered dark, midtone, and bright strips create a heated appearance.

BricksFade

Beveled bricks gradually fade in opacity across each row.

Cells

Solid adjoining cells separated by a precise grid.

CellsLetters

Gridded cells with letters that automatically switch for contrast.

CellsBrick

Continuous cells with highlighted upper edges and added depth.

GlassLetters

Reflective glass-style cells with highlights, borders, and letters.

Glass

The full glass and reflection treatment without letters.

Rings

Each TPO appears as a ring with a subtle glow and inner highlight.

Gradient

Cells split into a bright upper half and a dark lower half.

Dots

A minimal view using one colored dot per TPO occurrence.

Dense-profile handling: up to 50 symbols are drawn on one price row. The complete count is still used for POC and Value Area calculations; only the visible row length is capped.
Color system

22 color themes

Color can describe time, Value Area membership, calendar origin, or simply provide the right contrast for your workspace. POC and Single Print highlighting may override the active theme.

ByTimeVA

Professional time progression, bright inside VA and darker outside. Default.

ByTime

Rainbow sequence from the beginning to the end of the range.

Monochrome

Time-based gray scale with a brighter Value Area.

ValueArea

VA Letter Color inside and a faded Letter Color outside.

A progressive blue and cyan palette.

Ember

Warm tones progressing from dark red toward orange.

Matrix

IceBlue

VAByWeek

Layout control

Position the profile your way

Keep the full profile inside the selection, move it to a fixed right-side summary, or strip the view down to its key levels.

←

OnLeft

Draws the complete profile inside the anchored range. The spine begins on the left by default.

—

LevelsOnly

Hides letters and cells while preserving enabled POC, Value Area, High/Low, and labels.

→

OnRight

Presents the profile as a summary block at the right edge of the chart panel.

Spine On Right reverses the profile so its distribution extends toward the left. Show Summary Profile adds a second right-side view from 50 to 300 pixels wide; the default is 100 pixels.
Historical context

Prior levels from day to decade

Select one previous calendar period relative to Range Start. The tool scans loaded chart history and projects that period’s High, VAH, POC, VAL, and Low across the current range.

Practical configurations

Four useful ways to configure the tool for different chart-reading tasks.

A

Classic session profile

Letters + ByTimeVA, 30-minute TPOs, 70% Value Area, POC and Initial Balance enabled. Anchor the exact session open and close.

▦

Compact visual profile

Blocks, Cells, or HeatMap with POC, Value Area, and Single Prints enabled. Keep Spine Labels off for a cleaner chart.

D+

Multi-day profile

VAByDay, VAByWeek, or VAByMonth preserves one profile while color identifies the calendar origin of every TPO.

—

Levels-only analysis

Choose LevelsOnly to remove the full distribution while keeping your enabled POC, VA, High/Low, and reference levels.

Interpretation

Read time at price at a glance

A wide profile area contains many TPO brackets at the same price and signals greater acceptance within the selection. A narrow area shows that price passed through quickly. POC identifies the principal center of acceptance, while VAH and VAL define the region containing the chosen percentage of TPO activity.
