Trade Daddy FCS Strategy & Indicator for TradingView
Trade Daddy FCS Strategy for TradingView
Multi-Timeframe Trend, Supply & Demand, Volume Profile and Automatic Trade Planning — Plus a Companion Volume Indicator
Trade Daddy Fathers Day Futures (the FCS framework) is a TradingView strategy built for intraday futures traders working the 5-minute chart on MNQ, MES and MCL, as well as their full-size contracts. It combines trend reading across six timeframes, supply and demand zones checked against an in-script volume profile, market structure and automatic trendlines — then condenses everything into a single scoring panel that shows direction, strength of agreement and a complete trade plan.
It comes with a companion tool, Trade Daddy Volume, which shows the same volume and delta logic the strategy uses in its own pane — so traders can see exactly what the strategy is reacting to.
Both are decision tools, not magic buttons. Signals should always be confirmed with your own analysis and proper risk management.

What Is the Trade Daddy FCS Strategy?
FCS answers three questions before every trade: which way is the market leaning, is there a real reason to enter here, and how big should the position be?
Main Features
The Scoring Light — How a Trade Qualifies
On every bar the strategy scores the long case and the short case separately, from 0 to 11 points:
| Component | Points |
|---|---|
| 5-minute SuperTrend direction | 1 |
| Higher-timeframe trend (15m, 1H, 4H) | up to 3 |
| EMA 9/21 alignment with price | 1 |
| Price inside a fresh zone or FVG | 2 (1 for a pullback to the 21 EMA) |
| Zone confirmed by volume profile | 1 |
| VWAP side and slope | 1 |
| Short-term delta | 1 |
| Active RSI divergence | 1 |
The light shows GO only when the leading side reaches the threshold (7 by default), beats the other side, agrees with the 5-minute SuperTrend and the 4H trend, and the session is open. Trading against the 1H trend needs one extra point. Each component is shown as a filled or empty dot, so it is clear what is confirming and what is missing.
Three Setups, Three Tags
Reversals that agree with the 1H trend are tagged as pullbacks; counter-trend reversals need more confluence and are blocked when both the 4H and Daily disagree. Retests can also fire as continuation trades when the 4H and Daily support the direction. Every order comment records the 4H and Daily state at entry, so exported results can be split by setup and higher-timeframe regime.
Trade Plan and Position Sizing
For the favored side, the panel shows entry, stop, TP1, TP2, risk per contract and number of contracts. The plan is also drawn on the chart and fades once the stop or target is hit.
Sessions and News Blackout
Trading is limited to configurable New York-time windows (Asia open, London open and New York by default). Outside them the chart is shaded and no orders are placed. Positions are flattened ahead of the daily maintenance break.
A news blackout lets traders enter the day’s high-impact release times. Entries are blocked for a set number of minutes before and after each one, and the panel counts down to the next event.
Optional Gamma Levels
Traders who follow SpotGamma can enter the Vol Trigger, Zero Gamma, absolute gamma strike and key support/resistance strikes — typed in index, ETF or futures terms and converted to the chart automatically. The strategy then reads a positive or negative gamma regime from where price sits. Gamma is a readout only and does not change the core score.
Companion Indicator: Trade Daddy Volume
Trade Daddy Volume moves the strategy’s volume logic into a separate pane below the chart. It adds no new calculations — the delta estimate, the 20-bar average and the 2× high-volume threshold are the same ones the strategy scores, so both tools stay in sync bar by bar.
How the Volume Pane Works
Volume colored by delta
Bars are colored by who controlled the bar, not by candle direction. The indicator reads lower-timeframe data inside each bar (1-minute by default, down to 1-second on plans that support it) and nets buying against selling. A red volume bar under a green candle is often the first hint that a rally is being sold into. Without intrabar data it falls back to a candle-body estimate, and it can also color by candle direction.
High-volume bars in orange
The 2× threshold is the same one the strategy uses to enter a trendline or range break right away instead of waiting for a retest — so an orange bar under an LT/ST tag shows which entry variant fired. A grey average line and a dotted orange threshold line show volume building before it crosses.
Readout box
Session delta is most useful inside a range: flat price with rising delta suggests absorption and often breaks higher, while flat price with falling delta tends to break lower. An optional session CVD line and a high-volume alert are also included.
Volume Indicator Inputs
Markets and Timeframes
Built for the 5-minute chart. Position sizing reads each contract’s point value automatically, so switching between micro and full-size contracts needs no recalculation.
