Take Profit Trader: Futures Prop Firm Guide
Take Profit Trader is a futures-only proprietary trading firm built around a simple one-step Test model, fast access to PRO accounts, day-one PRO withdrawals above the buffer zone, and a path to PRO+ live-market accounts with a higher profit split and no buffer requirement.
Supported Markets
TPT supports futures products listed on CME, CBOT, NYMEX, and COMEX. It does not support stocks, options, forex, crypto, or CFDs.
Good fit for traders focused on ES, NQ, YM, RTY, CL, GC and other permitted futures contracts.
Supported Platforms & Data Feeds
TPT lists CQG data-feed access with major platform choices including NinjaTrader, TradingView, and Tradovate.
Rithmic data-feed options are also listed, with platforms such as RTrader, Quantower, and MotiveWave.
The platform flexibility is one of TPT’s stronger points, especially for traders who already use NinjaTrader, TradingView, or Tradovate.

The Test is the one-step evaluation phase. Traders need to hit the account profit target while respecting the risk rules.

Why Traders Usually Like TPT
Once in PRO, traders can request withdrawals from day one if profits are above the buffer zone.
No multi-phase evaluation structure. Traders focus on one profit target and risk-rule compliance.
Useful for futures traders who already have a preferred setup on NinjaTrader, TradingView, Tradovate, Rithmic, Quantower or MotiveWave.
PRO+ gives access to live-market routing, 90/10 split, EOD drawdown and no buffer requirement.
Payout Notes
In PRO accounts, the trader keeps 80% of eligible withdrawn profits.
PRO+ accounts are listed with a 90/10 profit split and no buffer requirement.
In PRO, normal 80% withdrawals require the balance to exceed starting balance plus the account’s max drawdown amount.
TPT says PRO traders can withdraw from day one and do not need to wait for a payout window, as long as withdrawal conditions are met.
Profits inside the buffer can be withdrawn only after account termination, with reduced or time-based split conditions.
TPT terms state traders may have up to 5 active PRO/PRO+ accounts at the same time.
Rules Notes
The Test phase is generally described as using end-of-day trailing drawdown, so the end-of-day balance/equity management is critical.
Regular PRO withdrawals depend on clearing the buffer zone. Traders should avoid withdrawing too early without understanding the inside-buffer rules.
PRO+ is listed with end-of-day drawdown and no buffer requirement, making it materially different from the standard PRO account.
The terms state that TPT programs do not support stocks, options, forex, cryptocurrencies or CFDs.
Traders may have a maximum of 5 active PRO/PRO+ accounts at the same time. Additional accounts are queued.
TPT terms state each customer is permitted to register only one email address, which helps enforce account limits and compliance.
Bottom Line
Take Profit Trader is best suited for futures traders who want a simple one-step evaluation, strong platform flexibility, and fast PRO payout access. The key thing to understand is the buffer rule: PRO payouts are attractive, but normal 80% withdrawals require profits above the buffer zone.
For traders who qualify for PRO+, the structure becomes more attractive because PRO+ offers live-market routing, a 90/10 split, EOD drawdown, and no buffer requirement.
